Tuesday night, Republican Candidate Mark Oxner released the video “Turn This Ship Around” and while the video continues to go viral, Facebook has apparently dropped the ban-hammer on this candidates advertisements.
This morning the Oxner campaign released the following:
Our campaign ad promoting the video was reviewed, approved, and ran. Because it was hard hitting, Obama supporters complained and the ad was temporarily pulled by Facebook for re-review. It was re-approved and began to run again. So statists re-complained and it was pulled AGAIN! After re-re-review the ad was again approved and started running again.
On the fourth review, Facebook finally disapproved the ad and refuses to run it claiming that it violates their rules on images regarding political issues. Of course, none of us have seen ads on Facebook with negative images of Republicans, have we? The odd thing is that we have four other identical ads running on Facebook that they and the Obama for America PAC have no problem with. Same ad. Same image. No problem.
So what’s the problem?
Perhaps it’s a mix of ideology and poor business practices. We targeted the ad five different ways. The one they banned is getting tens of thousands of more impressions than the other ads. It’s getting thousands of more click throughs and the Cost Per Click is less than half of the other ads we are running.
Their ad consisted of the following:

While this might seem somewhat conspiratorial in nature, one must take into account the sheer number of Obama donors that work for the company. While Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s support for Obama is well documented in the media, Facebook’s employees have donated tens of thousands of dollars to Obama in both the 2008 and 2012 election cycles. Is it that much of a stretch to think they have a vested interest in keeping both Obama and his friends in power?

Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter are all run by Obama supporters, donors and, in many cases, "bundlers". This sort of "coincidence" does not surprise me at all. It would be interesting to see how many other GOP candidates are experiencing the same problem.

Didn't the constituents bounce that lout Grayson last time around? Is he running for the same seat or did he find a new territory he could inveigle his way into with his apparent wit and charm(!).
I agree with this process and have tried to stay true to it relradgess of whether or not I get pressure to hire more people we need more sales people so we can get more sales, and we need them hired by 5 o’clock .A sales person, in my opinion, is one of the hardests to make a good hire on, or at least to select the best at actually MAKING sales happen on a consistent and high level basis. Years ago I went through a two day course called Success By Selection and it drove home all the aspects Paul lays out above. There is, however, that hidden person in every candidate that may not ever come out in the selection process, but if you interview and assess the candidate, like Paul lays out, your likelihood of success is greatly increased. The more thourough the assessment, the greater the your chances of making a good hire becomes. It may cost more time and money up front, but oh, how it pays off down the road.
Throughout the awesome epttarn of things you secure a B- for hard work. Where exactly you confused us ended up being in all the particulars. As as the maxim goes, details make or break the argument..
