VIDEO: Justified Force or Police Brutality? Occupy vs BPD at Tea Party

Today as we scoured the internet for any coverage of the arrests that took place at the Boston Tea Party yesterday, we came across the following article from the Boston Globe, "Boston police to review action after criticisms of handling of the Tea Party counter-protest on Common": “The department will need an appropriate amount of time ...

Tea Party vs. Occupy @ Tax Day Rally: You can tell who's who.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the Boston Tea Party on Boston Common organized by the Massachusetts Tea Party.  While the rally itself was relatively uninteresting, with smaller crowds than previous years and few captivating speakers, it was the counter-protesters that stole the show. For the first half of the rally, the counter-protesters (which originally consisted ...

Herman Cain On Shooting Rabbits, Scrapping The Tax Code And Clueless Americans

Last night we had the pleasure of sitting in on a media conference call with former presidential candidate Herman Cain.  Cain has been getting flak in the media in regards to the latest ad realized on his SicOfStimulus website. The ad features a rabbit being launched from a catapult and being blasted with a shotgun as an analogy ...

Romney Caught Flip Flopping On Earmarks

We'd be the first to advocate that an elected official must have the capacity to evolve their positions over time; normally, seeing a politician move over to the "right side" of an issue is something we'd embrace.  The capacity for an individual to realize the error of their ways and take another position, especially in ...

It’s about the FIRST AMENDMENT, Stupid.

Earlier today, we had “Catholic” senators violate Catholic teaching and their oath to protect the Constitution of the USA:

The Senate today voted against the Blunt Amendment that would have protected the rights of religious employers from having to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions. (h/t LifeNews)

Look, we cannot force Jewish bakeries to sell pork. We cannot force Hindus to serve hamburgers. We cannot force Catholics to participate in something that offends Catholic teaching just the same.

Now, the smoke-and-mirrors used to perpetuate the abomination on all American civil liberties known as “ObamaCare” has forced many of us Catholics to feel we need to defend what we believe — rather than our right to believe at all. Many people of many different walks-of-life have taken this as an opportunity to attack Catholics and, again, paint our views as archaic and tyrannical. However, Catholics have a right to believe what they will and no one can tell them otherwise. It’s the law of the land, folks. One must decide whether one likes America and all she stands for or not… not whether one likes Catholics or not.

RIP Andrew Breitbart

Freedom had been hunted round the globe; reason was considered as rebellion; and the slavery of fear had made men afraid to think. But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing.

Thomas Paine
Andrew Breitbart died late last night/early this morning, March 1, 2012. While there are many questions surrounding his death and conspiracy theories abound, can any of us honestly say that we expected this brave, brave man to live to a ripe old age? He was a patriot, a leader and a vigilante of the First Amendment. He chased after evil and corruption from whencever it appeared. Some questioned his sanity as he was so unabashed and bold as he taunted his enemies and dared them to attack. He shed light on cronyism and made plenty of enemies…all the way to the top. He will now be remembered as one of the many of the mighty who hath fallen for America.

Congressional Heavyweight Fight: Bielat vs. Kennedy

Yes there is a presidential election this year and whoever your favorite candidate is, it’s important to keep your eyes on the real prize this November.  The candidate at the top of ticket will have his entire agenda set by Congress, where the real power of our government lies.  One of the biggest congressional races is again forming in Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional district.

It was in the MA-4 last election cycle that Republican Sean Bielat waged a valiant fight against multi-decade incumbent and liberal legend Barney Frank.  While that particular election didn’t go as we all hoped, Congressman Frank chose to retire from office instead of facing the prospect of running against Bielat again.  We’re sure the fact that Frank had to dip into his own retirement savings in order to  spend more money than he was able to raise was a major contributing factor.

With the announcement of Congressman Frank’s long over due retirement as well as Bielat’s intent to run again it was only a matter of time to see who the Democrats would choose as their anointed heir to the “Frank Seat.”  That question was recently answered when Joe Kennedy III announced he was entering the race.

**Note**

For those that don’t have an advanced degree in Kennedy genealogy.  Joe Kennedy III is the son of Joe Kennedy the II of “Citizens for Oil” fame.  This organization is the propaganda wing of the Hugo Chavez and the Venezuelan government, masquerading as non-profit organization.  (See this article in Human Events on this organization’s fuzzy math).

Joe III is also the the nephew of former President JFK and MA Senator Ted Kennedy.

The fact that a member of the Kennedy has been selected to run against Bielat speaks volumes as to just how serious a candidate the Democrat establishment perceives him to be.  Without a doubt, the Democrats as well as the Kennedy clan will pull out all the stops in this race… and, for the sake of the nation, we implore our readers to do the same on Bielat’s behalf.

With the retirement of Patrick “Patches” Kennedy in 2010, this past election cycle marked the first time in 60 years that there wasn’t a Kennedy on the ballot in a Congressional race.  For the family, this is an opportunity to get their hands back into national politics for another half century.

This article will mark our return to Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional district and as this race heats up, you can count on us to cover what will undoubtedly one of the hottest races this year.

Catholic Activists Arrested Outside White House

Washington, DC- On February 16, 2012, a Catholic priest and fellow activists were arrested outside the White House  for peacefully protesting on behalf of the First Amendment Right to Religious Freedom following the HHS mandate and so-called “compromise” imposed upon the faithful by the Obama Administration.

“Occupy Wall Street protesters have been occupying federal property for months, but when we kneel in prayer, the police are called in and we are arrested,” Father Wilde said. “We knew that was the risk when we gathered today, and we will do it again regardless of the risk. What people of faith – of every faith – need to do now is stand with us.” (h/t LifeSiteNews)
